Overcoming Perfectionism as a New Mom
As a new mom, I struggled with the expectation of perfection and being able to do it all. I put so much pressure on myself to be the perfect mom that I soon found myself constantly overwhelmed with the unrealistic expectations I was putting on myself. By realizing my own shortcomings and learning from my mistakes, I was able to provide myself more grace and understanding. It’s a work-in-progress to let go of the pressure to be perfect, but it allows me to enjoy motherhood as a new mom more.

The Transformative Power of Motherhood
Motherhood is a journey within itself that I was unaware of. As a first-time mom, the emotional changes, identity shifts and self-discovery journey caught me off-guard. Through healing, being vulnerable and finding my inner strength, I was able to peel back the layers I’ve been hiding under and built the courage to be my authentic self. Through this journey, I’ve started to become the person I was meant to be. Although it may take some time to figure out life, remember to provide yourself patience during your own motherhood journey.
